How Do I Start?

You’ll need to become an AAT student member before you start your training.

AAT student membership gives you unbeatable study support, help with finding a job, great networking opportunities, exclusive discounts and much more.

How to register as an AAT student

You can register with us in three easy steps.

1. Choose and register with a training provider
You can find a training provider near you online. You’ll need to register with a training provider even if you plan on studying from home.

2. Register separately as an AAT student member

3. Pay your AAT admission and student membership fees
You can pay be debit or credit card, by sterling draft or cheque made payable to the Association of Accounting Technicians. If you register online you’ll need to pay by debit or credit card.

Online Skills Check

If you can show competence in some skills, you might not need to complete every learning and assessment area. Once you’ve found an AAT approved training provider that sounds right for you, contact them to talk about your course options. To prepare for this meeting, complete the online AAT Skillcheck [New Window] questionnaire, which evaluates your current skills and experience, and recommends a starting level.
